Now

Just celebrated 10 years of marriage to my lovely wife, Debbie.  We have two great kids, Rebecca (8) and Garrett (6).  After 10 years of service in the Air Force as a navigator on C-141 and C-5 cargo planes, I went back to school to get a real degree (my Political Science degree from the Air Force Academy looked nice on my wall but wasn't worth much beyond that) so that I could get a real job--10 years of flying was more fun than actual work.  I got an MBA from the Univ of Washington in gorgeous Seattle and parlayed that into a gig as a Financial Analyst for Hewlett-Packard in Idaho, where I reside today.  Idaho is an outdoor paradise, allowing the family and I to pursue the things we love: golfing, camping, hiking, whitewater rafting, swimming, biking, and traveling anywhere four wheels can take us.  For much of the past three years, I served part-time as a "weekend warrior" in the Idaho Air Guard.  I was a navigator on C-130 cargo planes, a flying job that proved much less glamorous and fun than my early flying years.  I spent the summer of 2004 flying missions into Iraq and Afghanistan.  I recently left the Guard to concentrate full-time on my family and my job at Hewlett-Packard.
